Day 01 : Arrive in Delhi |

After arriving in Delhi, you will be greeted & received by our tour guide, who will assists and escort you to a waiting coach/cab and get you checked in to your decided hotel.
After lunch, we will embark on visit to Delhi's monuments starting with Qutub Minar followed by Lotus temple & Akshardham.
Overnight stay will be in hotel at Delhi. |

02 : Delhi sightseeing |

After breakfast, we will visit the magnificent Humayun's Tomb, then visit India Gate, The President House, & Parliament house. After lunch, we will visit Rajghat to see the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, drive straight to Old Delhi, to experience a rickshaw ride thru the old bazaars of Dariba Kalan & Chandani Chowk. Evening is at Red Fort where beside the interiors of the fort, a 'light and sound show', is very entertaining.

03 : Delhi – Haridwar (210 km, 6 hrs) |

Early morning, drive to Haridwar enjoying rural life of plains & as we enter foothills of Shivaliks in Haridwar whole arena gets changed. Haridwar is gateway to Uttaranchal, a pilgrimage for deities & base for Char Dham yatra.
Reach Haridwar by late afternoon & check into hotel. Then, we go to famous "Har -Ki-Pauri" Ghat for holy dip & Aarti-Darshan. Take a holy dip in holy Ganges to cleanse spiritually. As dusk arrives, big lamp chandeliers lit up, enchanting mantras, priests, & numerous floating diyas offered by deities. After mesmerizing Aarti & Darshan at Gangamata Temple, return to hotel strolling through colourful bazaars of town. Overnight stay will be at hotel. |

04 : Haridwar – Mussoorie (85 km, 2 hrs) |

In morning, drive to Mussoorie & reach quite before noon. Check into hotel & have your lunch. After lunch, visit to Kempty Falls; 15 km from Mussoorie is the biggest attraction. Water cascades down from an altitude of 4,500 feet and splitting further into five cascades. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view.
Then, visit to Gunhill begin with trek from court complex on the Mall road. This path takes about 20 minutes. Here you can see the mountain peaks from very close range with the telescope. The British had placed a large firing Gun there during 1857 (time of Sepoy Mutiny) to prevent them to access Mussoorie. After independence it became a place for tourist attraction. It has many souvenir counters, view point, Telescopes, tea & Snacks stalls. |

05 : Mussoorie – Dhanaulti (25 km, 40 min) |

Today, we will drive to Dhanaulti. On arrival, check into hotel.
After lunch, trek 2 km to Surkhanda Devi temple at about 3000 meters. This temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati & one of the most revered temples of this region. It is believed that after Goddess Parvati became a sati, her head fell at this location where the temple stands today. Reach the top of the mountain where the temple is located. This location offers a breathtaking 180 degree view of higher Himalayan peaks.
Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Dhanaulti Set in the heart of the Himalayas and surrounded by dense pine and Rhododendron forest , whispering pines seems to be a straight out of poem by Keas or some romantic classic. Wild Iris, Snow capped peaks and hear filling peace embraces you here. |

06 : Dhanaulti – Harsil (200 km, 6 hrs) |

Today morning, drive to Harsil via Uttarkashi. Arrive in Harsil in afternoon & check into camp & relax for a while. Just laid back & enjoy nature at its best near Bhagirathi River. Overnight stay will be at camp.
Harsil's beauty is yet unexplored by the enthusiasts' travelers. It is surrounded by the breathtaking splendor of the majestic Himalayan peaks & Bhagirathi River. There are numerous trekking routes in and around Harsil offering bewitching beauties of nature. It is picturesque valley in the Himalayas at an altitude of 2620 m, surrounded by mountain ranges extending high above 3659m to 4923 m. There are Deodar trees in this valley. |

07: Harsil – Gangotri (22 km, 40 min) |

IIn morning proceed to shrine of Gangotri at an elevation of 3200 m amidst captivating surroundings. Gangotri temple is one of the four constituents of the famous Char Dham Yatra. Gangotri temple is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. The sacred stone near the Gangotri temple denotes the place where Ganga first descended on the earth. You can perform puja ritual at banks of Bhagirathi; priests are there to help you perform puja. Darshan at Gangotri temple & surrounding brings you near to divinity spiritually. Visit one of Ashrams & know more about spirituality from saint. After enjoying the Gangotri arena, we will return to Harsil for overnight stay. |

08: Harsil – Uttarkashi (80 km, 2 hrs) |

Today, drive to Uttarkashi of Tehri - Garhwal region. Reach there before noon & check in to hotel.
In afternoon, visit Temple of Lord Vishwanath where a massive iron trident is erected. Description about this temple is given in "Kedarkhand" (Skand-Purana). An ancient temple, it is said that it was first built by Parasuram. Later, it was renovated by Maharani Khaneti, wife of Sudarshan Shah in 1857. The temple has a Shivling, 60 cm high and 90 cm in circumference. The other important temples situated here are Ekadash Rudra, Bhairav, & Gyaneshwar. The temple of goddess Kuteti Devi is situated at the top of hill about 1.5 Km. away.
Rest of the day will be at leisure to soak beautiful surroundings. Overnight stay will be in a hotel at Uttarkashi.
Uttarkashi at an elevation of 1150 Mts. above sea level on the bank of river Bhagirathi, this picturesque town is also the district headquarters. From the religious point of view as well, it is considered important because the temple of Lord Vishwanath. Close by at Ujeli there are a number of Ashrams and temples. On the occasion of "Magh Mela" (Jan.14) every year people from far and near visit Uttarkashi to take a holy dip in Bhagirathi along with the idol of their village deity. |

09: Uttarkashi – Rishikesh (140 km, 4 hrs) |

Today morning, drive to Rishikesh enjoying the beauty of nature along Bhagirathi and Garhwal region. Arrive at Rishikesh by noon & check into hotel.
After brief break, take a stroll in the market near "Laxman Jhula" bridge in evening. Enjoy the view of Rishikesh from bridge and move to Parmarth Niketan for famous Ganga Aarti. As dusk arrives, ashram residents and visitors join together for the divine Ganga Aarti ceremony - an hour of prayer, song, meditation and divine connection led by Pujya Swamiji. After Ganga Aarti, return to hotel for overnight stay. |

10: Rishikesh –Brahampuri (river rafting site) -Rishikesh |

Distance covered: 11 km Time taken: 2.5 to 3.5 hrs; Depending on the water level.
Today morning, drive to Brahampuri for white water river rafting experience over Ganges 11 km. towards Shivpuri.
After arrival at Brahampuri ready the raft. Then raft down to Rishikesh. We hit some of the easy and exciting rapids on the river i.e. Initiation, Double-Trouble, Hilton and Terminator. In the later part, float past temples and ashrams of Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula.
Return to hotel after rafting experience. You can spend evening giving your body a favor- have some reflexology, acupressure, or massage. Ayurvedic Oils are used in it.
Rishikesh is also the Yoga Capital. There are many Yoga schools situated around Laxman Jhula. Overnight stay will be in a hotel at Rishikesh. |

Day 11: Rishikesh – Delhi (240 km, 7 hrs) |

Today morning, leave for Delhi. At Haridwar, you can enjoy last glimpse of holy Ganges as we say goodbye to divine land of Uttarakhand. Arrive in Delhi by late afternoon & transfer to IGI airport to board flight to your onward destination. |
