Southern Wild Safari will make you experience of wildlife nurtured in Western Ghats of India. Tour starts with rich heritage of Delhi & passes to rich botanical treasure at outskirts of Bangalore. Enjoy variety of birds at Rangnathittu Bird Sanctuary. Enjoy elephant safari at Nagarhole Park. Then live & enjoy nature at Kabini with boat ride, nature walk, & jungle safari. Then enjoy the wildlife at Nilgiri Hills in Waynad Sanctuary with rolling lush green jungles & a trek uphill to see wildlife closely as well as to feel the adventure in jungle. This gives you chance to know closely the rich southern wildlife.

Day 01 :Arrive in Delhi |

After arriving in Delhi, you will be greeted & received by our tour guide, who will assists and escort you to a waiting coach/cab and get you checked in to your decided hotel.
After lunch, we will embark on visit to Delhi’s monuments starting with Qutub Minar followed by Lotus temple & Akshardham.
Overnight stay will be in hotel at Delhi.

02 : Delhi sightseeing |

After breakfast, we will visit the magnificent Humayun's Tomb, then visit India Gate, The President House, & Parliament house. After lunch, we will visit Rajghat to see the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, drive straight to Old Delhi, to experience a rickshaw ride thru the old bazaars of Dariba Kalan & Chandani Chowk. Evening is at Red Fort where beside the interiors of the fort, a 'light and sound show', is very entertaining.
Overnight stay will be in hotel at Delhi.

03 : Delhi – Bangalore (via Flight) (2 hr 35 min) |

In morning, transfer to IGI Airport to board a flight to Bangalore. On arrival, check in at a hotel in Bangalore.
After lunch, we drive you to Lal Bagh – a botanical garden, watch out for the rare horticultural wealth and enchanting collection of rare flora in the garden. We then drive to Cubbon Park, another magnificent park that is be-flowered with rare variety of flowers and has amazing fountains and lush green lawns. Evening is at M.G. Road – a posh market place of Bangalore. Go on a shopping spree or simply retire in a coffee shop to sip in a cup of coffee. Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

04 : Bangalore - Bannerghatta National Park (22 km) – Bangalore |

In morning, drive to Bannerghatta NP for Safaris to see wildlife in vehicles and on elephants is the main attraction of the Park. The wildlife in their natural habitat creates interests in tourists. This National Park is a treasure house of exotic species of wildlife and a great variety of flora.
Bannerghatta National Park covers around 104.27 sq. km which includes ten Reserve Forests of Anekal Range of the Bangalore Forest Division. Wild animals like Elephant, gaur, leopard, jackal, fox, wild pig, sloth bear, sambar, chital, spotted deer, barking deer, common Langur, bonnet macaque, porcupine and the hare are found here. Other inhabitants include wild boars, sloth bears, pangolin, slender loris, huge monitor lizards as well as cobras, pythons, kraits and Russell vipers roam the park. The park is a unique relocation area for tigers and lions rescued from circuses in India. They can be seen in securely fenced areas within the 25,000 acres of the Park.
The avian population comprises cormorants, white ibis, little green heron, grey heron, paradise flycatcher, Tickell’s Blue Flycatcher, Common Grey Hornbill, White bellied Drong, Spotted Owlet, Collared Scops owl, Mottled Wood Owl, Eurasian Eagle owl and Brown Fish owl.

05 : Bangalore – Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary (130 km, 2 hr 30 min) – Mysore (20 km) |

In morning, we drive to Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. Ranganathittu was formed as a result of a small dam across the river Cauvery in the 1600s. The sanctuary covers an area of 0.67sq.km but is home to a great variety of birds and a few reptiles. Sanctuary is a sight to behold during the nesting season of the birds from June to November. The sight of fruit bats, crocodiles and birds flying around is a beautiful sight to watch. Take a boat ride around the sanctuary and get a closer look at the birds and the crocodiles.
Later in evening, we will visit famous “Brindavan Gardens” returning to Mysore. Here you can see beautiful gardens and colorful dancing fountains and water jets. The view over here is treat to eyes. Check into a hotel in Mysore for overnight stay.

06 : Mysore – Nagarhole National Park (80 km, 2 hrs) |

After breakfast drive to Nagarhole. On arrival check-into the Wildlife Resort. In afternoon, enjoy Elephant Safari inside the park and look for Gaur (Indian bison), Dhole (Indian wild dog), Wild cats, four horned antelopes, & Flying squirrels, Sloth bears, Sambar deer and Panthers. The park has variety of birds, which include the rare Malabar tragon, great black woodpecker, Indian pitta, pied hornbill, whistling thrush and green imperial pigeon. Overnight stay will be in wildlife resort at Nagarhole. |

07 : Nagarhole National Park – Kabini River Lodge (90 km, 2 hrs) |

In morning, enjoy game view drive in national park. Return from safari and take lunch. In afternoon, we will proceed to Kabini River Lodge, nestled in the southern fringes of the Nagarahole National Park. Immense natural beauty is present in this region. The breathtaking locale with the tranquil backwaters of the River Kabini presents an ideal setting for wildlife experience. Check in on arrival and proceed for wildlife safari in the evening. Enjoy Coarcle- (round boat made of bamboo) trip in river. Overnight stay will be at River Lodge. |

08 : Kabini River Lodge – Waynad (100 km, 4 hrs) |

In morning, go for a jeep safari in surrounding forest to enjoy wildlife. In afternoon, we will return for lunch at River Lodge. After lunch, we will drive to Waynad Wildlife Sanctuary through beautiful Nilgiri region. In late afternoon, we will arrive at Waynad & check in to resort. Rest of the day will be at leisure so just relax in the beautiful atmosphere of Waynad. Overnight stay will be at wildlife resort at Waynad. |

09 : Waynad Wildlife Sanctuary |

In morning, ride on jeep for safari. Our guide will help you to see wildlife closely. You can see deer strolling & gaurs near bushes. In the course of a day's drive, you can see herds of spotted deer, jackals, wild pigs in significant number, may be a leopard or the much celebrated great Indian king cobra. Return to resort for overnight.
Waynad Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 1973 is an integral part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, which has been established with the specific objective of conserving the biological heritage of the region, the sanctuary presents a rich and enticing arena of bio-diverse flora and fauna. The reserve is known mainly for its elephants after the sanctuary was included in Project Elephant, launched in 1991-92 to protect wild elephant population. Beside the eye-soothing greenery of the Western Ghats, this unexplored patch has its own charm.

Day 10 : Waynad Wildlife Sanctuary |

Early morning, ready to trek to the Chembra Peak (near Vythiri) located at a majestic height of 6890 ft. with packed breakfast. To get to the summit is a whole day affair. It will take around 4-5 hrs to get to the peak from the base camp. During our trek, you can enjoy silent and amazing Nilgiri flora & fauna.
About halfway on the route, at about 4921 ft, a crystal clear lake temporarily nullifies the exhaustion of the climb, and one can enjoy a cup of hot tea of the Nilgiris before continuing further. By late afternoon, we will return to the base camp. Return to resort for overnight.

Day 11 : Waynad – Bandipur National Park (65 km, 2 hrs) |

In morning, drive to Bandipur National Park via Gundlupet. Enjoy pastoral beauty of Nilgiris during your journey. On arrival, check in to resort and relax for a while. Then, we head to park for safari. You can see the elephant and gaur in their natural surroundings.
The flora and fauna exist in perfect harmony here. Bandipur has good number of tiger population. Apart from tigers, you can also spot gaur, Peafowl, partridges, quail, hornbill, giant squirrel, Dhole (wild dog), elephants, sambar, barking deer, etc.
Bandipur National Park is fascinating wild-life center, established in 1931 by the Maharajas of Mysore. This park is nestled in the foothills of the Nilgiris. Bandipur National Park sprawls in 874.20 sq. km. of land. Bandipur National Park, with its open grassy woodland, lies to the south of the Kabini River. The park lying in the shadow of the Western Ghats is one of the finest habitats of the Asian elephant, watered by the Moyar River.

Early morning, leave for Jeep Safari into the interiors of the forest to see the wild inhabitants of the forest. In morning hours the animals set a harmony with the twittering of birds and the wild groan of animals that take you to an unrestrained rhythm of living with the wild. Enjoy the misty noises made by the animals. Return back to the resort for the breakfast.
We then mount on an Elephant's back and start exhilarating safari in Bandipur. The deadliest of animals like tiger, leopard, elephant, gaur, sloth bear, Asiatic wild dog and hyena rein over the forest. So, be ready with your binoculars & cameras for opportunities come your way. After the safari, return back to the resort & relax your self. Overnight stay will be at resort.

Day 13 : Bandipur – Bangalore (220 km, 6 hrs) |

In morning, we will leave for Bangalore via Chamarajnagar. We will arrive in Bangalore in afternoon. Transfer to Bangalore airport to take respective flight for your onward destination.
