Day 01 :Arrive in Delhi |

After arriving in Delhi, you will be greeted & received by our tour guide, who will assists and escort you to a waiting coach/cab and get you checked in to your decided hotel.
After lunch, we will embark on visit to Delhi's monuments starting with Qutub Minar followed by Lotus temple & Akshardham.

02 : Delhi sightseeing |

After breakfast, we will visit the magnificent Humayun's Tomb, then visit India Gate, The President House, & Parliament house. After lunch, we will visit Rajghat to see the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, drive straight to Old Delhi, to experience a rickshaw ride thru the old bazaars of Dariba Kalan & Chandani Chowk. Evening is at Red Fort where beside the interiors of the fort, a 'light and sound show', is very entertaining.

03 : Cochin (by flight) (4 hr 40 min) |

Early morning transfer to IGI airport to board flight to Cochin at 0600 hrs. Reach Cochin at 1040 hrs. Assistance on arrival and transferred to the hotel. After some rest, sightseeing tour of Cochin.
Visit Fort Cochin & St. Frances Church to see the town of Vasco Da Gama & also see the Jewish Synagogue & the Mattancherry "Dutch" Palace. This evening a memorable experience in any journey in Kerala is a Boat Trip along the Palm Fringed Lakes & Backwaters of the Area; enjoy this extraordinary excursion today as we sail along the shady canals we see cantilevered Chinese fishing nets. From our launch, we enjoy use of narrow produced - Laden dugouts & the everyday life of families living on narrow spits of land between the waters.
In the evening enjoy the Kathakali, one of India's most famous Classical dances. Lavish Costumes & Exotic makeup & Masks intensify the beauty of the dancers, intricate moments. Overnight stay will be in hotel at Cochin. |

04 : Cochin - Cherai Beach (35 km, 1 hr) |

After breakfast, check out and drive to Cherai, the closest decent beach to Cochin. Arrive & check into resort at the beach. Rest of the day is at leisure to spend as per your choice. Overnight stay will be at resort at Cherai beach.
Cherai Beach shelters a backwater and supports an active fishing community, some of whom use Chinese fishing nets. This lovely beach bordering Vypeen Island is ideal for swimming. Dolphins are occasionally seen here. Nearby village with paddy fields and coconut groves is an added attraction. |

05 : Cherai Beach - Kumarkom (68 km, 2 hrs) |

After breakfast, leave for Kumarkom & check into resort at arrival. Here in this backwater town, you can laze in a canoe amidst sylvan surroundings. After relax for a while, enjoy boating in Vembnadu Lake in evening. Enjoy beautiful sunset amidst backwaters.
Return to resort, make sure you do not miss out on Karimeen and fresh toddy the favourite fresh water food and the local wine. Overnight stay will be in resort at Kumarakom.
(Optional): You can visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, located on the banks of the Vembnadu Lake, to see bird viewing where numerous species of birds are found. |

06 : Kumarakom - Alleppey (40 km, 1 hr) |

After breakfast, checkout and drive to Alleppey. On arrival, embark on the houseboat.
The day is for the journey of backwaters in the boat through the tropical countryside enchanting backwaters of Alleppey by regattas (snake boats) for which Kerala is very famous. While we will be sailing enjoy palm fringed narrow canals winding through the vast expanse of paddy fields and the neat tiny hamlets lined up along either side of the canals. You can enjoy panoramic sights of greenery, Chinese fishing nets, & the reminiscent of our past trade links on the way. You can enjoy fishing from the houseboats. In evening, enjoy sunset from the sun-deck of the houseboats. Overnight stay will be at the houseboat.

07: Alleppey - Varkala (125 km, 2 hrs) |

Today morning the break fast will be served on board, then disembarks from the houseboat and drive to Varkala 54 km northwest of Thiruvananthapuram, with its beautiful sands and cliffs, is a considerably more appealing -and much quieter- beach destination. Check into resort & laze at beach. The day is free to just chill at beach or take up activities of your choice. Overnight stay will be in a resort at Varkala.
Varkala beach is famous for mineral springs and a fantastic massage. Different kind of spa, massage, & aromatherapy massage treatment available here. The mineral springs here are said to have curative properties. The massage technique has been a closely guarded secret for thousands of years, but for many it's a welcome revival from the toils of the road. |

After breakfast the day is free to relax with the option of herbal oil massage or spa treatment. Just enjoy beach, sun, & sea whole day. Overnight stay will be in a resort at Varkala. |

09: Varkala - Kovalam (60 km, 1 hr) |

After breakfast check out and drive to Kovalam through green coastal belt and cashew plantations. On arrival, check into the resort. The day is free to relax at lovely coconut palms fringed beach. (Optional) You can take up a session of Yoga & meditation or Ayurveda treatment at resort or at health center in evening. Overnight stay will be in resort at Kovalam.
Kovalam Beach consists of three successive small crescent beaches. The palm-fringed bays of Kovalam in secluded coconut groves, promise a relaxed stay. The unforgettable image of Kovalam is that of the coconut-palms-lined high rock promontory that cuddles the calm and wide expanse of the blue waters. |

In morning, enjoy a stroll at the northern most beach, Samudra, is least affected by crowd. It is dotted with few rudimentary wooden fishing vessels. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, & surfing. (Optional) You can take boat ride offered by local fisherman for 2-3 hours. Return to resort.
After some relaxation at resort, we will visit the middle beach, the longest among these called Hawah dotted with eateries, hotels, & shops. Each morning this beach acts as a base for the local fisherman.
Later, visit the southernmost called Lighthouse beach. There is a lighthouse perched atop the rock on the beach. Enjoy spectacular view of the sea & the harbor from lighthouse. (Optional) You can indulge in surfing offered by private operators at beach. After enjoying the sunset at beach, return to resort. Overnight stay will be in resort at Kovalam. |
