Day 01 :Arrive in Delhi |

After arriving in Delhi, you will be greeted & received by our tour guide, who will assists and escort you to a waiting coach/cab and get you checked in to your decided hotel.
After lunch, we will embark on visit to Delhi’s monuments starting with Qutub Minar followed by Lotus temple & Akshardham.
Overnight stay will be in hotel at Delhi.

02 : Delhi sightseeing |

After breakfast, we will visit the magnificent Humayun's Tomb, then visit India Gate, The President House, & Parliament house. After lunch, we will visit Rajghat to see the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, drive straight to Old Delhi, to experience a rickshaw ride thru the old bazaars of Dariba Kalan & Chandani Chowk. Evening is at Red Fort where beside the interiors of the fort, a 'light and sound show', is very entertaining.
Overnight stay will be in hotel at Delhi.

03 : Delhi –Jamshedpur (by flight) (2 hr 40 min) – Simlipal National Park (180 km, 5 hrs) |

In morning transfer to IGI Airport to board flight to Jamshedpur at 0910 hrs. Arrive at the Sonari Airport, Jamshedpur at 1150 hrs. On arrival, our representative will meet at airport and transfer to the Simlipal National Park. On arrival, check into forest lodge. Take rest. Overnight stay will be at forest lodge.
The Simlipal National Park in Orissa is covered with the wide stretches of Sal forests. The national park is home to twelve rivers and innumerable waterfalls and the native Santhal tribes of Orissa. Accommodating around 100 tigers and 230 bird species, the national park is also a floral treasure with 501 plant species belonging to 102 families. The other important members of this wildlife sanctuary are the 82 species of the orchids, medicinal and aromatic plants.
Simlipal National Park is known for the spectacular Mangesheri mountain range that spread evenly throughout the national park.

In morning, ride on the jeeps and set for a safari in the park. You can observe the herds of deer by the side of rivers most often. Besides the large number of Tigers in Simlipal, you can spot Leopards, Sambhars, Langur, Barking and Spotted Deer, Chitals, Chevrotains, Wild dog, Wild boar, Sloth bears, Monkeys, Hyenas, Porcupines, Gaur, Elephant and the 'Four-horned' antelope.
The major bird species within the 230 bird species found in the park are: Red Jungle Fowl, Alexandrine Parakeet, Crested Serpent Eagle, Grey Hornbill, Indian Pied Hornbill, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Indian Trogon Hill Mynah, Peafowl, etc.
After lunch, we will move to crocodile breeding farm. The reptilian population in the Simlipal National Park includes snakes and turtles. The Mugger Crocodile has survived and flourished well in the park. Overnight stay will be in a forest lodge at Simlipal National Park.

Early morning, enjoy a jungle walk with our guide to know more about forests. After breakfast, we will take you for a drive to Barheipani & Joranda. You can enjoy the spectacular view of the park from Barheipani (1308 ft.) region. The most beautiful waterfalls of the national park are found at Barheipani and Joranda (493 ft.).
At Barheipani and Joranda waterfalls, you can enjoy picnic & then Jungle safari there, return to Forest Lodge. Overnight stay will be at Forest lodge.

06 : Similipal Park – Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary (150 km, 4 -5 hrs) |

After breakfast, drive to Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary, Balasore distrct. On arrival, check in at Panthasala Lodge. Then, safari to Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary spread in 272 sq. km. The hilly terrain and the deciduous forest support the wide range of animal species that have made it their natural habitat.
The animals that you might encounter while on a trip to the sanctuary are elephant, gaur, sambar, tiger, leopard etc. You can also view the rich avian fauna that consists of peafowl, myna, hornbills, and a wide species of reptiles.
There is a perennial stream nearby which is an ideal picnic spot after tiring trip in the Wildlife sanctuary. Dinner and overnight stay at forest lodge.

07 : Kuldiha WLS –Chandbali (130 km, 3 hrs) (via Bhadrak) – Dangamal |

After breakfast, drive to Chandbali via Bhadrak by jeep. Arrive in Chandbali by 1100 or 1200 hrs. From Chandbali, we take motorboat cruise to Dangamal Island. At Dangamal, check in at the forest rest house. Overnight stay will be at Dangamal. |

In the morning, take a boat ride on small creeks to see estuarine crocodiles and the mass nesting forest. After lunch enjoy a nature walk on mangrove forest.
The motorboat chugs swings into a creek where the waters are calm but full of crocodiles, some 20 ft in length. They lie motionless on the banks, basking in the sun. The creek is flanked by an unbroken line of islands on both sides, their trees teeming with a wide variety of birds.
Stay overnight at Dangamal Forest Rest House.

09 : Dangamal –Bhitarkanika Sanctuary |

Bhitarkanika is a group of islands in north-eastern Orissa yet unexplored, with trekking trails, unexplored beaches and dense forests. An amazing variety of birds can be seen on the cruise to the island of Dangamal. The island also has a crocodile sanctuary. Look out for wild life, small pools within the thick forest, and the ruins of a temple.
After breakfast at Dangamal Island, Proceed to Bird Island and observe the thousands of migratory birds from the watch tower. Cruise across towards the Bhitarkanika Island. On arrival, check in at forest lodge. After lunch, we take a boat cruise around creeks & creeklets to enjoy serene beauty of wildlife. Overnight stay will be in forest lodge at Bhitarkanika.
Bhitarkanika harbor rich and unique bio-diversity which has been declared as a wildlife sanctuary and also a National Park. The area is surrounded by rivers such as Brahmani, Baitarani and Dhamara and is criss-crossed by several creeks and creeklets.
The area supports rich bio-diversity including dense mangroves (63 species), largest population of estuarine crocodiles (1098 as per 2000 census), the rare white crocodile (sankhua), largest Indian lizards (water monitor), poisonous and non-poisonous snakes like king cobra and python, varieties of resident and migratory birds (217 species) and a number of mammalian species (spotted deer, sambar, wild boar, fishing cat, jungle cat, otter etc).

Day 10 : Bhitarkanika Sanctuary - Ekkakula Island – Gahirmatha |

The sea beach, bordering the sanctuary attracts thousands of Olive Ridley sea turtles for mass nesting/ egg laying during the winter months (January to April). Bhitarkanika mangrove ecosystem is unique of its kind and it is a best reptile refuge in the entire country.
Breakfast at lodge and take motorboat to Ekkakula, 4 hrs away, an island in the Bay of Bengal, unknown and unspoilt, with a breathtaking view. Look out for wild boars, hyenas, and jackals. Dolphins can also be spotted in the sea.
After lunch observe the mass nesting of endangered Olive Ridley Turtles on the beach at Gahirmatha. If the egg laying season is going on, then night visit to see this rare species of turtles. Overnight halt at Ekkakula forest cabin.

Day 11 : Ekkakula Island- Chandbali (4 hrs)–Bhubaneshwar (150 km,4-5 hrs) |

Today in morning, we take motorboat to Chandbali for our trip to Bhubneshwar. We will arrive at Chandbali before noon. From there, we drive toward Bhubneshwar via Kendrapada & Cuttack. Arrive in Bhubneshwar in evening. On arrival, check into hotel. Take rest as it is tiring journey. Overnight stay will be in a hotel at Bhubneshwar. |

Day 12 : Bhubaneshwar – Nandankanan |

Drive to Nandankanan Zoo in Chandraka Forest, (25 km away). Enjoy White Tiger Safari, Lion Safari, & visit to Botanical Garden. Drive back to Bhubneshwar, Overnight stay will be in a hotel at Bhubaneshwar.
Nandankanan Zoo: It located in Chandaka Forest along the Kanjia Lake is the habitat of the White Tiger, 67 other animals, 18 reptiles, and 81 species of birds. The Zoo has successfully bred black panthers, white tigers and the gharial crocodiles in captivity.

Day 13 : Bhubaneswar - Chilka Lake (105 km, 2 hrs) |

Morning early breakfast and drive to Chilka Lake. Arrive at Barakul, Khordha. Check in at Forest Lodge in Barakul. Cruise on the Chilka by motor launch to the islands. During cruise, enjoy the sheer ecosystem & wildlife of Chilka Lake. We will visit Nalabana. It is a forest of reeds and is famous for the long-range migratory birds in winter & Birds Island: It is heaven for the resident and migratory birds. One can watch the birds in their natural habitat here. Return to Barakul Forest Lodge. Overnight stay will be in a Forest Lodge at Barakul.
Chilka Lake: 1,100 sq. km of Asia's largest brackish water lake is home to thousands of birds. The hills ringing the lake are inhabited by wild animals like the blackbucks, cheetahs and porcupines and the lake is rich in aquatic life- its waters harbor around 160 species of fish, crustaceans and other marine creatures, including the famous Chilka dolphin. Prawn, crab and mackerel fishing are an important source of livelihood for the local people, and hundreds of small fishing boats set sail each morning to bring in the day's catch from the lake.
Islands dot the vast lake, the best visited ones being Nalabana, Kalijai, known for the Makar Sankranti Mela, Satapada, Parikud, Malud and Brahmapura.

Day 14 : Chilka Lake |

Today, we go for excursion trip to Kalijai Temple Kalijai is the presiding deity of Chilka. Kalijai Island the abode of the Goddess is situated just 2 km of INS Chilka. Every fisherman in Chilka prays to Kalijai before he goes for fishing. Thousands of devotees go there and pay respect to Kalijai. We will take boat from Barakul to Kalijai.
After lunch, we take boat cruise to Satapada the famous Chilka Dolphins can be seen in their natural best environment. Then visit Parikud and Malud, they are islands within the lake. You can enjoy undisturbed scenic beauty traversing through bluish water. Return to Barakul for overnight stay.

Day 15 : Chilka Lake – Bhubaneshwar (105 km, 2 hrs) – Delhi (by flight) |

After breakfast, we drive to Bhubaneshwar. On arrival, check into hotel. Then in afternoon, we will visit Nirmala Jhar Temple & Narayani Temple, & transfer to the airport to catch flight to Delhi. Board Delhi bound flight at 1745 hrs and reach Delhi at 1945 hrs. From Delhi, you can catch flight to your onward destination. Thus tour ends here. |
